Privacy Policy

Effective September 1, 2026Last updated September 1, 2026

Exclusive Annuities is an independent insurance agency licensed in all 50 states. This policy covers the website, the calls booked through it, and the email and text messages that follow.

The Short Version

We collect what you type into our forms and tell an advisor on a call, plus the standard technical data every website receives. We use it to run your appointment, prepare your comparison report, and meet the record-keeping rules that apply to licensed insurance producers.

We share it with the carriers you ask us to apply to, with the vendors that run our calendar, email and texts, and with regulators where the law requires. We do not sell your personal information, and we never share a mobile number or a texting opt-in with anyone for their own marketing.

Reply STOP to end texts. Ask us at any time what we hold, and we will tell you, correct it, or delete it.

Who This Policy Covers

This policy explains how William Rapp, doing business as Exclusive Annuities, trading as Exclusive Annuities (“Exclusive Annuities”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information. It applies to this website, to the booking calendars and forms on it, to the calls you book through it, and to the email and text messages we send you.

Exclusive Annuities is an independent insurance agency licensed in all 50 states. It is not a bank, a broker-dealer or a registered investment adviser.

By using this site or booking a call, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What We Collect

Information you give us

  • Your name, email address, phone number and the state you live in
  • Your age or age range, retirement status, and the details of your situation you choose to discuss on a call — income needs, existing contracts, timelines
  • Anything you write into a contact form or send us by email or text
  • If you go on to apply for a contract, the information the carrier’s application requires, which can include your Social Security number, date of birth, beneficiaries and financial details

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type
  • Pages viewed, time on page, referring site, and how you arrived here
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see the cookies section below

Information from other sources

  • Insurance carriers, in connection with an application you have made
  • Our scheduling and customer relationship management providers
  • Advertising and analytics platforms, where you reached us through one

How We Use It

  • To schedule, confirm and remind you about a call with an advisor
  • To search the independent market against your situation and prepare your Market Comparison Report
  • To answer questions you send us
  • To submit an application to a carrier, where you have asked us to
  • To send you information about annuities and our services, where you have agreed to receive it — you can stop this at any time
  • To meet our legal, regulatory, licensing and record-keeping obligations
  • To detect fraud, protect the site and enforce our terms

We do not use the information you share on a call to make automated decisions about you.

Text Messages And Calls

Where you provide a mobile number and give express written consent, we may send you text messages relating to your appointment, your report, and — if you agreed to it separately — occasional marketing messages. Consent to marketing texts is never a condition of doing business with us.

  • Message frequency varies. Appointment-related messages are sent as needed; marketing messages, where you have agreed to them, are limited to message frequency may vary.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • To stop, reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation and then no further texts from that program.
  • For help, reply HELP, or contact us using the details at the end of this policy.
  • Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Numbers are shared only with the messaging providers that deliver the messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose.

Calls to and from our advisors may be recorded or monitored for quality, training and compliance. You will be told at the start of a call where that applies. If you would rather not be recorded, tell the advisor and they will stop.

Cookies And Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to make the site function, and analytics and advertising technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure our marketing. These may include tools operated by the Meta Pixel, for Facebook and Instagram advertising.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Refusing non-essential cookies will not stop you using the site or booking a call. Some browsers send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal; where the law requires us to honour it, we do.

Who We Share It With

  • Insurance carriers and their administrators, where you ask us to submit an application or service an existing contract
  • Service providers who work on our behalf under contract — scheduling, customer relationship management, email and text delivery, analytics, hosting and document storage — and who may use the information only to perform that service
  • Our own licensed advisors, so that the person you booked can prepare for your call
  • Regulators, courts and law enforcement, where we are legally required to respond
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

How Long We Keep It

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to satisfy the record-keeping periods imposed on licensed insurance producers, which in most states run for several years after a contract ends. Marketing contact details are kept until you opt out, and suppression records are kept indefinitely so that your opt-out is honoured.

How We Protect It

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor agreements requiring the same. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We will never ask you for online banking or brokerage login credentials, and we never request access to your accounts. If anyone claiming to represent us does, it is not us — contact us immediately using the details below.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, and where it came from
  • Obtain a portable copy of it
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Have it deleted, subject to the retention obligations described above
  • Opt out of marketing, of any sale or sharing, and of profiling
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

These rights are given by law to residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah and a growing number of other states. We extend the same rights to everyone who contacts us, whichever state you live in.

To exercise them, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We will verify your identity before acting, and will respond within the period the applicable law allows. You may use an authorised agent, with proof of their authority. If we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our response.

Children

Our services are directed to adults planning for or living in retirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Where a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will give notice on this site and, where required, directly.
