About Exclusive Annuities
Hi, my name is William Rapp. I started this firm after I noticed something about my own practice that I could not unsee. Here is what happened.
Where it started
For years I worked as an annuity advisor. I had a handful of carriers I could place business with, and those were the only options I could show anyone.
As I got busier, more people came to me for a second opinion. Many of them already owned an annuity. They came because they had heard there might be something better out there than the contract they were holding. That kept happening.
My first instinct was to blame whoever had sold them those contracts. Then I realized I was one of them.
It did not matter how carefully I worked, or how much I cared how it turned out for them. As long as I stayed capped by the carriers I was contracted with, my clients stayed capped by the results they could get from me. That is when I committed to do better.
Today I am a Certified Financial Fiduciary, contracted with over 65 carriers and licensed in all fifty states, and I work to one rule: search the entire market first, and let the recommendation come second.

What it became
